A simple, yet flexible, to-do list application
for iPhone and iPod touch.

Capable enough to apply a task management system that suits your style, yet simple enough that you won’t get lost spending more time making a list than doing the stuff that’s on it.

A task in taskList has
four simple components:

A simple, short one-liner. This is how the task is shown in the main list.
Optional additions:

Note - Text area that can be used for more description, details, sub-lists, etc.

Phone Number - Input any number for instant one-touch dialing direct from the task.

Contact - Attach anyone from your contacts list for quick access to all of their info inside taskList.

Due Date - With a date selected, the countdown begins! See how many days away something is due in the main list. Also, enables a special tag that will sort all dated tags in the order they are due.
Groups can be used for projects, an inbox, or time frames - whatever fits the need of your ever evolving to-do list.
Tags are used in the sorting search area in the main list. Use them for marking priorities, or GTD contexts, or anything you wish.
Simply tap name buttons to filter the list below to show only tasks with those selected tags.

If you have tasks with due dates, a special tag appears that can show only those tasks, ordered with what is due first on top.
If your list needs it, groups can be the main organizational feature. Groups can be used for projects, timeframes, or even an inbox.

Tasks within a group can be hidden with the arrow at the left.

Tasks with no group appear on the top - a nice spot for new tasks that need sorting, or maybe the day’s most important to-do.
Enter edit mode to re-order tasks, even between groups. Also, select multiple tasks to complete, delete or add tags to them all at once, as well as move them to different groups.
Tap this detail button to manage and add new tags at anytime.

Find, sort, order, focus;
it all happens in the list.

Swipe a task to reveal a complete button.
Tap a group title bar for focus; shift it to be the only list on the screen.
Tap this detail button to reorder, rename, or add groups.
The Completed Tasks list at the bottom of the main list keeps track of what you have done each day.

From here you can also reactivate accidently completed tasks, or make a new task using the same info as a previously finished task.

Finding a void between too-basic, fixed to-do lists, and pricy, complicated task managers, taskList was created to fill the gap. An everday app; it needed to be done right.
